About Dr. Engin Üstünsoy, Aesthetic Surgeon
Dr. Engin Üstünsoy is a highly experienced aesthetic surgeon who was born in Istanbul in 1958. After completing his secondary education at Istanbul Erkek Lisesi, he pursued his medical degree at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. He then specialized in Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery at the same institution. Following his compulsory service and military duties, Dr. Üstünsoy began his private practice in Ankara, where he established his own clinic. Over the years, he played a pivotal role in setting up and managing the plastic surgery departments in two private hospitals in Ankara, providing valuable consultancy and overseeing service management.
In his clinic, Dr. Üstünsoy pioneered the establishment of Ankara's first facial rejuvenation unit, offering advanced treatments such as CO2 Laser and Thermage (R-F) applications. He received extensive training for these techniques in the UK, Germany, and the USA.
With a focus on advanced aesthetic surgical techniques, Dr. Üstünsoy has performed a wide range of procedures, including rhinoplasty, breast aesthetics, facial, and body contouring surgeries. He is committed to staying at the forefront of his field by regularly attending national and international conferences and congresses related to aesthetic surgery.
Dr. Üstünsoy is an active member of several respected organizations, including the Turkish Medical Association, the Turkish Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the Turkish Aesthetic Surgery Association, ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), and INTERPLAST, an international plastic surgery organization dedicated to humanitarian missions. He has actively participated in numerous INTERPLAST projects both within Turkey and internationally, contributing his surgical expertise to those in need.
Fluent in both German and English, Dr. Üstünsoy has authored numerous publications in both local and international scientific journals. Since 2011, he has been living in Antalya, where he continues to provide his expertise and care to patients in this beautiful city.
