I had the FUE procedure done in July of this year, it is only 4 months later and I now have hair again! I’ve been told that I should wait for a full year to see the best results, but I am incredibly satisfied with the results! The team was very professional and treated me with kindness and respect.

One of the best avenues to go for a hair restoration not only in the Little Rock area, but the entire country. Dr. Petrus has been performing hair restoration for decades, is well qualified in his field, and a perfectionist with an excellent network of people who can assist in the process performing at the same high level as him. Would go back and cannot recommend more.

Last December (2023) a fall which split my ear in two took me to the Springhill Baptist emergency room. After waiting all afternoon, I was admitted to the back to see an ER doctor. After an initial evaluation, the ER doctor called for a plastic surgeon. Within a few minutes a new doctor arrive, assessed the injury, explained the procedure and away we went. Dr. Gary Petrus was that plastic surgeon. He was calm and professional which reassured me. Thank you, Dr. Petrus for doing your job, for being there and for taking such good care.

I went to five different consultations before deciding on Dr. Petrus. The first was with Nirvana Med Spa, which the price was great but the google reviews seemed fake (like they were mostly from non-local friends and family) and I felt like there were some red flags during the consultation. The second was with Hair Club/Bosley, but I didn't even get to meet a doctor during their consultation. The third was with MD Hair Labs. I really liked the doctor but the price was astronomical. The fourth was with Dr. Suzanne Yee. I only spoke via phone but became frustrated that they could not give me a ballpark price unless I spent over $100 to meet with her in person. I felt like I already had a good idea by now of how many grafts I needed and it wasn't ethical of them to charge me and require an appointment when price could be the defining issue. Dr. Petrus's staff gave me an idea of the pricing so that I could determine if it was worth me paying for a consultation. That is good business. I finally met Dr. Petrus and found him to be knowledgeable and friendly. He actually performs a lot of hair research clinical trials right in his office. He also performs a lot of surgeries at his second office in Minnesota. The procedure was slightly more expensive than I hoped, but I decided it was worth it to have a doctor I felt comfortable with. I had heard from friends that the procedure would be very painful, so I didn't really believe Dr. Petrus when he described it as a few bee stings, then little more than pressure. I should have trusted him. I couldn't believe how painless the procedure actually was. I actually left there saying that I'd rather have a hair transplant than have my eyebrows plucked. Everything he described to me ended up being exactly how it was. He was very friendly and relaxed throughout the procedure. He flew in two nurses to assist him from Dallas and they also seemed very experienced. I liked that I was his only patient that day and he is a very hands-on doctor. Sometimes it was even him taking my blood pressure. I felt like he did everything within his power to ensure my comfort during the procedure and my happiness with the results. It's only been six days since the procedure so I can't comment on my final result, but I feel like the recovery has been exactly as he told me it would be and I have no reason to believe I'll be dissatisfied with my final appearance. If anything, I might actually be worried that he filled in my hairline too much, which is probably a good problem to have. Overall, I would definitely recommend him for hair transplants.
