I had my breast implants done by Dr Canalas ten years ago, and I had problems initially with my right breast. I sent pictures to Aspen treatment facility in Florida, where I was told I had a baker 2 contracture. I called in and was given the response by him that he did not see anything but that I could come have them redone for another $10,000. That was not an option for me as a young yoga teacher, who had just spent her savings on the first pair. I then suffered ten years in chronic chest pain while I saved for a revision, and finally was able to go back and pursue a revision. The place was not the same. The new patient coordinator Monique is a rapid-fire speaker, who does not like to have genuine questions asked, or more than 15 minutes of the Dr's time taken. I had written down all my questions for my appointment (still have the paper), and was organized to a T. Having found some research that put the process into question, I called back after booking with one more question, and I was denied the ability to speak with Dr Canalas again...only to Monique, who is not a Dr. I had already cancelled many of my classes by this point to make time for the surgery. Rather than answering my question, my surgery was cancelled, and I was told to get a second opinion. So I lost not only my work, but all the time that it took to get the MRI and set up the appointment.
Due to the nature of this business, I'm happy to go somehow else, where the Dr and staff are patient, and have a sense of care and kindness for the individual before them. Clearly PSA is now more interested in new clients and not correcting old work, despite the fact that MY PHOTOS have gotten them work and been on their website the last decade.
What seems excessive is to send a letter in the mail saying you will not treat your own patient for future surgery. I caution anyone going to Plastic Surgery Associates or getting treatment from Dr Canalas that requires future follow-up, as you run the risk of being written off unless you have zero preferences, an endless budget, and a totally open calendar.

I had lipo 360 and a tummy tuck. Couldn't be happier with the results. I was also super happy with the service and care at the office. Everyone that I worked with whether it was reception making appointments, the nurses and assistants and of course, Dr. Furnas, the level of professional was exquisite. Couldn't recommend them more.
