Had a HORRIBLE unprofessional experience with the front desk staff. When I initially called to book the appointment, I shared my insurance and confirmed the Dr they assigned me accepts it. When I arrived for my appointment, not only did they make my appointment with a doctor who isn’t even at this location, the Drs who were there that day did not take my insurance. After discussing it with the front desk staff at 80th St side, they straightened it out and sent me on my way to see the lovely Dr. Seitta at the 79th St side. Well, after I had filled out all the paperwork, provided my ID and insurance card, waited, then was called into the Dr’s room, screened by the Dr’s assistant answering health history questions, then sat waiting for Dr Seitta to come in …. a front desk staff member had the audacity to barge into the Drs room I was in to tell me they won’t be taking my insurance and that I needed to leave. It was so unprofessional and embarrassing to be escorted out after being initially told by 80th St staff that I was good to go. When I went back to 80 st to tell them what happened, the young man at the desk acted clueless and offered no explanation or assistance, didn’t even turn in his seat to look in my direction. It took another staff member who I hadn’t previously met to come over and figure out what was going on. Eventually she realized the error, and had to straighten it out with the 79 st staff who had turned me away. I was then escorted back to 80 st and was finally able to see Dr Seitta. He was excellent

Dr. Seitta is a wonderful dermatologist. However we had an appointment on 1/17 at 630 we got to the office on 80th Street only to be told he was on 79th Street 4th. Cold as it was we walked over there only to be told he was not in and if we wanted to see someone else. We were fuming because the appointment was with him and no phone call to inform us he would not be there! Also the front desk person in that office on 79th Street was Rude. But we rescheduled anyway.
Today 1/23 had another appointment we called to make sure he was going to be in and guess what? It said the office was closed! Why the hell would they give an appointment with no way to get in touch with someone? This is terrible customer service. So unfortunately we will now have to go somewhere more reliable. Its sad because we liked Dr. Seitta but VERY disappointed with the way that SINY runs things now.

set back, it's difficult to touch basis with bayridge office. A staff Asian young lady ( lied about her name) was very rude. Doctors are sweethearts. The staff was good too.
