I had a tag team surgery. I had a double macetomy with reconstruction. They were able to skip the tissue expanders and go right to implants. It was a long surgery. I was terrified, but Dr. Powers and his staff saw me through it. Last week I had my 3.5 month checkup and everything healed and looks fantastic. I would recommend him to anyone who needed breast reconstruction. So very greatful for them!

I am so thankful to Dr. Jeremy Powers and Amber. They basically gave me a chance at having a life again. He performed a panniculectomy on me December 1, 2023. He removed almost 55 lbs that had hindered me for over 15 years. I am now much more mobile and have lost over 110 lbs + the 55lbs he removed. I will forever be thankful and grateful to them. They are very professional and caring. They made me feel comfortable. The whole staff is just great! I would recommend Dr. Powers without hesitation. I would also like to thank Dr. Webb, who performed an emergency surgery on me while Dr. Powers was out of the country. There is not enough I could say to let you all know how wonderful you all are!!! Forever appreciative!!!!

I went to Dr. Powers because I was dealing with Diastasis Recti from a very complicated high risk pregnancy with a difficult c-section. I was having so many issues that my quality of life was not what I wanted it to be. I had seen Dr. Powers previously for a consult on my daughter's skull when she was a baby and I was very underwhelmed. I should have listened to my gut to begin with. However, I didn't, and I let him repair my DR and perform a tummy tuck as well since (without even attempting) he told me insurance wouldn't cover the surgery and I was already paying out of pocket. His bedside manner is very blah, his nurse Amber seems to make up for his lack of personality. Surgery went fine, although I didn't see him afterwards and was left with minimal information post op. Went for my follow up and had to ask what he ended up doing. He literally didn't offer any information which was so strange to me. Fast forward to my 2 week appointment where I asked him (after waiting in the office for 2 hours to be seen) about a spot on my incision that was black and not healing like the rest. I expressed my concern about it being fat necrosis and I wanted to be pro active if it was. He brushed it off and said how he wasn't concerned and it would heal. Well within literally a week it busted open and went from 3" long by 1/4" wide to close to a 2" wide and 3" long fatty bloody hole. I spoke with Amber as she makes herself the focal point of communication. Sent her tons of pictures, pushed for a plan. His solution after me pushing and going back in was to use Manuka honey on it and see. I was SO confused because it was gross and oozing and my concerns for infection were high as i have 3 children. At the time the youngest was almost 2 and still breastfeeding. He didn't care, he told me his style is letting your body heal it naturally. I wasnt comfortable with his lack of care so I went to a walk in clinic to get a 2nd and 3rd opinion and they gave me more supplies and advice in the 15 min I was there than he did in weeks. I asked him multiple times about debriding it in office so it had the chance to heal on its own and he kept telling me no. So after ALMOST EIGHT WEEKS of suffering with an open wound that I know was infected (even though he refused to swab it to see) he finally said he would clean it out and close it up. But now he "couldn't do it in office" so his nurse Amber told me that the Cosmetassure insurance you pay $250 for when you agree to have surgery would cover the costs. I made it CRYSTAL clear to them I could not and would not be paying another penny for this procedure since I had been asking for him to take me serious this whole time. We talked over numerous emails and in person at appointments and every time Amber promised and guaranteed I wouldn't have to pay a penny. I spoke to the representative at Cosmetassure and was told the specifics that they would cover $3500 Amber knew this, Dr. Powers knew this. Yet tell me why after the procedure months later I get a bill from anesthesia for $2500?? So I ask Amber face to face and send her a picture of the bill and she tells me NOT TO WORRY about it. Months go by and I get another bill, reach out again asking her what is happening just to be lied to and told it would be looked into. Go another month with no reply so I reach out again and now she says she's going to reach out to her contact at Ballad. So then within a week from her telling me that I get a $10k bill from Ballad. I immediately email her in a panick because I hadn't even received a bill from them until I asked her about the anesthesia bill. She then writes me off and tells me to contact Ballad. She literally messed up multiple times and then sat there and caused them to bill be $10k and just told me to contact them. 9 months after my procedure and here I am stuck with bills I was PROMISED I wouldn't have. They've since ignored my emails and messages. This doesn't even touch on the in office procedure he did to "fix" the ends of my incisions he messed up that look 10 times worse now, such sloppy work.

Could not recommend Dr. Powers enough. I was in a pretty severe mountain bike crash and after my inital trip to the ER and addressing my orbital fracture, I felt that something was off with my nose as well. A few weeks later, I consulted with Dr. Powers and discovered that I had broken my nose as well, however the radiologist had missed it. I appreciate everything that Powers and his team have done!

I had a reduction mammoplasty with Dr. Powers recently. The surgery went well, the recovery was very tolerable, and I remained free of infection. The results fit my body frame perfectly and the symmetry is great! Dr. Power’s nurse, Amber, is very attentive and eased my apprehension during the whole process. I wish I had done this years ago! I cannot express enough here with how pleased I am of Dr. Power’s and Amber’s professionalism and outstanding care! Danah
