Understanding Abdominoplasty in Los Angeles

Women and men with loose abdominal skin and concentrated fat can benefit from abdominoplasty. These conditions may be inherited or result from substantial weight loss. Dr. Stanton's specialized "Short Scar Lipo-Abdominoplasty" technique offers patients less scarring and faster recovery.

Ideal Candidates for Tummy Tuck Surgery

  • Excess or sagging abdominal skin with or without stretch marks
  • Separated and weakened abdominal muscles
  • Protruding abdomen disproportionate to body shape
  • Concentrated fatty tissue in the abdominal region

Surgical Approach for Abdominoplasty

Dr. Stanton carefully designs each tummy tuck procedure to target specific patient concerns. The surgery typically involves making a lower abdominal incision to tighten muscles, remove excess skin and fat. Most procedures take approximately two to four hours to complete.

Medical Benefits of Tummy Tuck Surgery

Beyond aesthetic improvements, abdominoplasty can offer significant medical advantages, including improved posture, reduced back pain, potential stress urinary incontinence reduction, and possible hernia correction.

Recovery and Post-Surgical Considerations

Patient recovery varies depending on individual healing and job requirements. Desk job employees might return to work within two weeks, while those in physically demanding professions may require additional recovery time. Dr. Stanton provides personalized guidance for resuming activities.

Complementary Procedures

Patients often combine tummy tuck surgery with complementary procedures like breast augmentation, hip augmentation, or buttocks implants to achieve comprehensive body contouring results.

Comprehensive Consultation and Personalized Care

Dr. Ryan Stanton recommends a thorough consultation to discuss aesthetic goals, review medical history, and determine the most appropriate surgical approach. Potential patients should disclose previous abdominal surgeries and future pregnancy or weight loss plans.

This doctor ruined my life. Do not trust him. He does not understand the woman figure. My surgery with him turned out very bad. Not going to go into details as my bad body experience is so private to me. BTW staff arrogant into Beverly Hills! Makes one feel uncomfortable

The office is extremely organized, professional, knowledgeable and informative. On top of that, the communication is extremely fast and easy. They provided information over and above my expectations which put my mind at ease. When I choose to have the procedure, this office is at the top of my list.

Got Botox & Juvederm ultra lip filler here, Rachel the front desk attendant was SO friendly and kind, and my technician Natalie was AMAZING. Absolutely no bruising or swelling, I was fully healed the day after (listening to their after care tips). I don’t think I can imagine going anywhere else after how great the experience was here. If you’re on the fence, definitely pick this spot.

I initially had a surgery date booked with Dr. Kenneth Hughes but after speaking with Dr Stanton and his staff Vivian and Keisha, I knew I had to cancel it. I love how they handled everything and I was willing to lose my deposit with Dr Kenneth in order to book with Dr Stanton. I am now going to have surgery February 8th and I'm incredibly excited. Ive had botched surgeries in the past but Ive never been more comfortable and trusting with a doctor before Stanton.
