Comprehensive Brow Lift Surgery in Glastonbury, CT

Dr. Harold E. Beam offers advanced brow lift surgery for patients throughout Connecticut, including Glastonbury, New Britain, Hartford, and New Haven. A brow lift—also called a forehead lift—provides comprehensive facial rejuvenation by addressing visible signs of aging in the brow and forehead region.

Understanding Brow Lift Procedure

The brow lift surgical technique involves strategic incision placement above the hairline, allowing Dr. Beam to:

  • Release muscles near the eyebrows
  • Remove excess forehead skin
  • Tighten remaining skin to reduce wrinkles and creases

Recovery and Expectations

Patients can anticipate mild post-surgical swelling and bruising. Dr. Beam may prescribe oral pain medication to manage discomfort. Most patients return to light work within one to two weeks, with full recovery occurring around four weeks post-procedure.

Brow Lift Candidacy and Longevity

Ideal brow lift candidates typically range from 35 to 75 years old, are in good general health, and have realistic aesthetic expectations. On average, patients enjoy their surgical results for up to 10 years, though individual experiences may vary.

Procedure Benefits

  • Reduces deep forehead creases
  • Corrects drooping eyebrows
  • Addresses hooded eye concerns
  • Provides a more youthful, refreshed appearance

Complementary Procedures

Dr. Beam often recommends combining brow lift with complementary facial rejuvenation techniques like eyelid surgery or facelift to achieve comprehensive aesthetic enhancement.

Cost Considerations

As a cosmetic procedure, brow lift surgery is typically not covered by insurance. Dr. Beam's staff can discuss personalized pricing and flexible financing options during your initial consultation.

From day one the entire team was there to support me. Not to mention fill out note after note when changes were needed. I appreciate them all.

A year after augmentation surgery I am having to have a revision surgery at an additional cost. My breast are high, hard, disfigured and painful. I followed every post op instruction, and went to every follow up appointment only for Dr. Harold Beam to blow me off when I raised concerns about my breast. It’s not only the disfigurement of my breasts that outages me, but his complete lack of compassion. He never even wanted to self examine his work with his own two hands. He gave some excuse about a cold. He could have put on a pair of gloves or washed his hands. How can you give a diagnosis without a physical examination! Then to add insult to injury, he wanted to charge me more money than I originally paid to try and fix the mess he’d made, and he threaten to sue me! Do not have Dr. Harold Beam perform your breast surgery. I don’t want to give any stars but I can’t post without one.

Very pleased with the service to repair my ear lobes that were ripped to be pierced at a later date. Glad that one of my neighbors recommended Dr. Beam.
