The moment I first met Dr Austin in 2013 I was treated with respect and dignity. He has been there for me on my breast cancer journey. His staff is caring, efficient and supportive. His surgical care is beyond wonderful. I can unequivocally recommend Dr Austin for any surgical needs. I trust him completely.

Be careful of deposits I went to this office for 14 yrs (2004 = 2018) mainly when Dr Carter was there and Jessie did most of the "med spa" type work- lazers, sculptra etc and she was great. In 2018 I had cancer and went to the office a few doors down for my chemo and other treatments. I left a deposit with this office for sculptra back when sculptra had to be mixed beforehand as I thought I would like to have it done after I recovered, I would call every year or so to see if Jessie was there and at that time she was, .They always asked me if I wanted my deposit back (800.00) I said no that I was going to wait till I could come back in that building without it greatly stressing me out. That time never came for me, so I contacted the office to get my refund back and they said no, but that I could use it for services- this defeats the whole problem of me being stressed out being so close to the oncology office. So I would recommend to just be clear about deposits

Very caring staff. Excellent care through my breast cancer surgery and reconstruction. I have amended my review as my reconstructive surgery results over the years have been incredibly painful, in addition to being visually unsightly. I finally decided to go back to my primary surgeon to have the implant removed. Upon first glance she couldn't believe I have lived with the pain and discomfort this long without scheduling an appt with her sooner. It seems dr Austin put the implant below my muscle, rather than underneath the muscle. This has pushed the muscle up into my collarbone and the implant is squished between my breast bone and under my arm horizontally. My incision scar is in the weakest area with a high degree of pressure on it. I have lost most of the mobility in my arm due my muscle being squished up into my collarbone. It's a hot mess. Dr Austin noticed the unusual height of my "new breast" post surgery. He commented that he did his best and it's just going to look "unnatural." Well that's because the surgery was done incorrectly. Rather than admitting that, I was left to believe that this is what mastectomy reconstruction is for me. I have lived with constant pain, pressure, stiffness and loss of mobility in my arm for 6 years now. Would not recommend. Another surgeon now needs to fix this hot mess.

Had breast cancer. Dr. Austin and his team are amazing. Made me feel like they actually cared. While my body needed multiple surgeries due to treatments and unfortunate things that were unforgeable, this man showed up every time. Weather, time of day, it didn't ever stop him from being by my side and working on me and saving my life more than once. Out of all my doctors my plastic surgeon had the most compassion, and was with me through my entire battle and beyond. My cancer happened during covid and while the world was shut down and support people were not allowed to be with the patients. His team made me feel so supported. I cried, many times in there office and they professionally remained supportive and compassionate. If you need a doctor I highly recommend this office and Dr. Austin, nurse Stephanie. They are amazing and forever hold a special place in my heart. I wish they could teach/ lead other offices and doctors in the industry. It definitely nice to have a doctor take time to make sure you understand everything, and are HEARD ❤️🙏❤️❤️🙏
