I have been seeing Dr McLendon for a variety of procedures over the last 20 years. I can’t say enough about this doctor! His high standards for attention detail and perfection are off the charts! Better yet, he is very easy to talk to, and he has an amazing bedside manner! Over the last two years, I went through breast cancer treatment, double mastectomy and recently had my breast reconstruction surgery by Dr McLendon. I am still healing from the surgery, and I am amazed at the work that he did on me! Truly amazed! I could not be happier! I had no idea that after all that I’ve been through that I would ever come close to looking normal again! I’m so very grateful! I cannot post this review without adding how wonderful, knowledgeable and caring his staff is. When you first walk in the door, the staff is always very friendly and greets you with a smile. The further you go back into the office, it just gets better because the nurses and medical assistants get to know you on a personal level, and they are better than awesome!! They are professional and they really know how to take the sting out of sharing your insecurities with them. They are understanding and very caring. I have to point out two staff members that mean so much to me. I will truly miss them when my breast cancer journey/reconstruction comes to a close. First, Amy! I honestly don’t know all of her responsibilities, but she scheduled my surgery, was on top of my insurance and all of my medical releases. She was the lady that made it all happen. Very thorough, professional and caring! Last, but not least is Charmaine! Oh, how I love her! She is one of Dr McLendon’s right hand people. He would be lost without her. She was with him when I saw him the very first time over 20 years ago, and she’s still there! (That also says a lot about the doc she works for!) Charmaine will educate you with every aspect of your surgery from preop meds, the procedure, and post operative instructions. She will not make you feel rushed if you have questions, and she assures you that she is reachable if you have questions later! She is thorough, extremely knowledgeable, personable and caring! I wish I could give this office a 6 star review because that is what they truly deserve! Try them! They will not disappoint!

Oh my gosh, feeling so nostalgic, Dr. Mclendon did my breast augmentation when he was doing his residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles! He did an amazing job and sad to say that after thirty years, they are coming out due to the breakdown of the implant. They looked like the day I got them up until very recently. He is a spectacular surgeon and not one person could tell that they are implants, no scars visible at all! Hi Chris, hope you are well!!! Jan, formerly of LA, now in Maine!
