I am no stranger to cosmetic surgery as I had had a mastopexy + implants and abdominoplasty at age 30. At age 53 it was time to replace my implants. I had asked around quite a bit and Dr Edward Love came very highly recommended by 4 people who were not related in any way (one was a doctor) = very impressive. During the consult, Dr Love flat out refused to talk about the facelift stating that I am too young!!! Online I found that many surgeons will begin doing facelifts as early as age 45! But of course, gravity will set in making that person literally a customer for life. I have almost NEVER heard of a plastic surgeon turning down money. This impressed me tremendously; here was a doctor of ethics and high personal responsibility. There is NO WAY that I wanted to be in company with the late great Phyllis Diller who often quipped that she had had so many facelifts that her ears touched at the back of her head. Ya no… that’s not the situation I am looking for. LOL He did replace my implants and did another mastopexy to make sure that the result was aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately one of the implants settled a little higher than the other and even though he did a revision in office my breasts still weren’t symmetrical so I couldn’t go braless (as I had hoped that I could continue to do). In a brassiere this asymmetry was not noticeable at all and truth be told I could’ve lived with that. But when I went back several weeks ago (2023 now, 2+ years after I had originally gotten the implants) I again, inquired about the face lift. Now that I’m post menopausal I’ve lost a bit elasticity in my skin. Had Dr. Love given me the face lift when I first asked I would most certainly have been upset at how quickly my skin started sagging already! Dr Love WAS 100% ON THE MONEY HERE and I’m so glad that I listened. So the facelift was a difficult recovery, but then again it is major surgery and I am now nearly 56 (in August). So that’s not unusual. But the results so far have been tremendous. I am about 6 weeks post op and while there is still some slight swelling in my left cheek (which is common) people keep asking me what I’m doing differently that I ‘look so good”? I also developed a capsular contractor in one of my breasts (not completely uncommon complication; build up of scar tissue, not anything the surgeon is responsible for). Dr Love fixed that yesterday. I also had an unexpected complication from the facelift (again NOT the surgeon’s fault). Dr Love and his entire staff were so kind and attentive. They addressed this complication immediately and I came to see Dr Love personally every 3 days and sent pics to make sure that the complication was healing properly. I’m happy to report that the breast that had the capsular contracture was replaced and the new implant is nice and soft (like the other) and from what I can see, once the breast settles (for me it’s usually 4 to 6 weeks) I am very confident that I will achieve the symmetry that I was seeking. I know that many women (especially at my age don’t like to go braless or they would like to, but as we age gravity takes over and it’s just not comfortable). In closing I want to leave the readers of this review with one final thought: it’s easy to praise a doctor or contractor or a waitress for a job well done if no problems arise. But the true measure of someone’s talent and work ethic manifests when difficult circumstances arise irrespective of the fact that it was not the doing of the individual who is ultimately responsible. Dr Love is a consummate professional and a heck of a nice guy, respectful and down to earth; not an arrogant jerk as so many surgeons are. His staff is equally warm, welcoming and professional. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences dealing with every staff member and I’d highly recommend. The image that I’m attaching to this review was taken 6 days ago. I’m not wearing any makeup and used NO FILTER.

Dr Love is awesome! He was friendly, but professional and was not in a hurry and took time to answer all my questions during my consult. His staff is also very friendly and professional. I was very pleased with the results of my tummy tuck and muscle repair. I would definitely recommend Dr Love and will return if I choose to do any additional surgeries.

My 6 month post-op review of Dr. Love.
6/7/2024 Dr. Love performed a tummy tuck, breast lift, & breast augmentation. Following surgery there was significant noticeable bruising on my right breast. At my first post-op appointment the bruising was mentioned but nothing at the time was brought up that it could be something more. A week later under my right breast my stitches burst and blood started rushing out. I called and made an appointment and they saw me later that day. Dr. Love examined me and let me know it was infact a hematoma, he placed me on antibiotics and said it should clear up. For a week I continued to be light headed and on occasion fainted, while still profusely bleeding. He was made aware of this. On 6/26/2024 I called his office and spoke with his nurse (who is AMAZING, his whole office staff is!!) she spoke with him and called me back and a surgery was schedule for the next morning. On 6/27/2024 I went in to have a “washout” on my right breast. This surgery did stop the bleeding and by 3 days post-op I finally felt right again. But, my breast looked like Frankenstein scarring. It was awful, painful, & embarrassing. My N*pple was so messed up, the scar was not smooth and jagged. At that post op appointment we talked and he informed me he would have to do surgery AGAIN to fix it all. On 9/20/2024 I went in to have scar revision. During pre-op he came in and spoke to me about what he would be doing which I was told just smoothing the scar. Waking up from surgery Dr. Love visited me in post-op and informed me he had decided to replaced ONLY my right breast implant with a smaller implant- this was never discussed as even a possibility. Went to that post op appointment and expressed how I was in pain and he said it would go away eventually- it has not. It now has been almost three months from this surgery, there is still a noticeable difference in the implants and the “lift” he performed is embarrassingly different between the two. I will now be having to seek out another surgeon to fix the mistakes made by Dr. Love while I am out thousands upon thousands of dollars. Please, please do your research, because I am not the only one.
