I was living with a broken nose for way too long and decided to finally get it fixed. I didn’t want to travel out of state, so I’m glad I found Dr. Shuaib! He and his staff are so welcoming and supportive, too. Dr.Shuaib answered all my questions and fixed all my problem areas. It’s only been about 7 weeks but I love my nose. The only thing I regret is not going to him sooner!

HANDS DOWN THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS. Doctor Shauib was beyond patient with me from my preop to my postop. He has answered any questions and walked me through this entire process, his team was great and I couldn’t think him enough for the confidence boost that he has given me with my new nose; he also did my upperbleph at the same time and those results were also superb!

I have suffered from a deviated septum my whole life and have had breathing issues as long as I can remember. I also always knew that upon getting my septum fixed, I would want to get some minor cosmetic refinement. After thoroughly researching surgeons for almost 2 years, I came across Dr. Shuaib, and after reading his patient's testimonials and seeing his results, I knew instantly that I wanted him to perform my surgery. Dr. Shuaib + his team were fantastic throughout the entire process and I felt so supported throughout. His office staff, Abel and Grace, are incredible and always took the time to answer all my questions with so much care. The surgery process went great as well and the hospital staff were all so kind and eased all my anxiety (it was my first time having surgery of any kind so I was quite nervous). My recovery was smooth and Abel and Grace were always available to answer any question I had about post-surgery care- Abel also did an wonderful job of walking me through all the aftercare protocols. I was so excited when my cast came off, and as my nose heals and takes shape, I’m getting happier every day. Dr. Shuaib exceeded my expectations with the results. I have never been able to breathe the way that I can now, and for the first time in my life I feel like I can take a proper full breath of air. Cosmetically, Dr. Shuaib gave me the exact results I wanted - in fact the results exceeded the simulations he showed me. He balanced everything perfectly and I finally feel like my nose "fits" me :) Originally when Dr. Shuaib showed me the side simulation I was considering reducing my bridge more, but he talked me out of it and explained how the current proportions balance out my features and nose well - I am SO glad I listened to him because my side looks perfect (I would have really regretted reducing it more)! I Everyone who's seen me is amazed at how natural my nose looks, and at least three people have already asked for Dr. Shuaib's number. I have told them they will absolutely not regret it. I cannot thank Dr. Shuaib more for increasing the quality of my breathing and my confidence through this experience - I could not have asked for a better outcome and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Roughly 8 months post-op now and feeling qualified to write a review : I spent a lot of time researching where to get my rhinoplasty and even considered going abroad to save a bit. The more I thought about it, the more I realized I’d be better off going with a reputable surgeon in the U.S. who I can return to more easily in case of any questions or complications. A revision rhinoplasty is more expensive after all - get your shoes on sale, not your face! I would say the results speak for themselves, but in this case, I don’t hear anything because no one can tell I’ve had work done. My own family members who were concerned that I wouldn’t look like “me” now think my new nose looks so natural and suits me perfectly. I used to get injectables to fix other more minor insecurities in an attempt to distract from my nose, and now with the confidence I’ve gained from fixing my main facial insecurity - my nasal hump - I’ve stopped the tox and even embraced my natural hair color again. As far as healing goes, my nose is still adjusting to seasonal allergies, but I breathe perfectly! I did experience numbness in my front teeth after surgery (which is not very surprising because it has happened with dental procedures too) but I can feel it slowly improving with time, and I did get a small superficial clot in the arm that was used for sedation. Nothing medically serious and no side effects that deviated from my expectations otherwise. Dr. Shuaib’s office team rocks, but you could tell they are spread thin with the popularity of his practice (for good reason). The physical copy of the surgery guide they give you could have more post-op information and I wished there was a single webpage or portal to access everything from the instructions for medications, videos on rinsing and taping, FAQs for more potential side effects etc. I felt that would have reduced the number of minor questions I had to bug the staff with. TL;DR : All in all, 10/10 would choose to get my face cut by Dr. Shuaib again.
