Very nice Dr, but they say your before care will determine your aftercare and sadly, though the surgery went well and I am happy with the overall results of my reduction, my before and aftercare lacked tremendously. I saw the Dr once prior to surgery and then, didn't see him again until 7 months later, and that was on the day of surgery. He functions out of Central OR OB/GYN, so him actually being in the office is hit and miss, even though they list daily hours on google. It's him and one office person, who I never could figure out if she was even clinical staff. Every contact with their office was via text with her. Their phones do not roll over to an answering service in case of an issue. I had to convince her I needed a pre-op appointment and then was only granted a phone call. I was told he would explain everything the day of surgery, which he didn't. I got no pre-op information or instructions, was only asked on the phone what questions did I have; so two days post-surgery, I am out looking for a post-surgery bra. When I brought up with him that I received no pre-surgery instructions, he tried to say all that is done in the pre-op appointment. When I told him that I never received one, that we just had a phone call, he said oh ya, we probably dropped the ball on that. I left the day of surgery with no drains. I ended up with a seroma, and open wounds on both breasts. Twice I had to show up at his office for the wounds, and he had on work clothes and when he came in the room, he didn't wash or sanitize his hands and didn't wear gloves or a mask. No one else was in the room with me and him, nor was it ever offered to have someone else in the room with us. He did no wound care, just taped them up with surgical tape, didn't clean them out first. My wounds ended up getting worse. I took the initiative over my health and ended up switching to another Plastic Surgery office, who graciously took over my aftercare to address my ongoing wounds, that are thankfully, now healing. The Medical motto, "first do no harm" was a failure in this Dr's case. I have a friend who had a reduction with him, and had a great experience, not sure why I was given sub-par (lack of) medical treatment by him, although she is a Nurse, so maybe that is why. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to this office.

I appreciated how Dr Quinn talked with me during my consultation. I wasnt treated like a number. We talked about everything I've been through fighting with insurance and trying to get results from other doctors in the area. He ordered a test for me that others hadn't considered. I am looking forward to having my procedure done.
