I had someone refer me to her thinking she’d be great for me as well. Red flag #1 should have been that her office scheduled an appointment for me after just being diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. We came to her office hopeful, we were sat down to watch a video about the type of procedures offered and then she came in to ask what option I was most interested in, stated she had no additional information to go off of because I had done no testing or anything yet, okay understandable. She then takes some photos and sends me on my way. Pointless appointment. She could have told me that the surgery I wanted was never an option for me. Then, the gag is I get a $400 bill meant for insurance. $400 for nothing. So I wait until I’m almost done with my treatments to meet with her yesterday right? I’m thinking we’d have a thorough conversation. She comes in, asks me the same questions that she has answered in my chart. Then very very briefly tells me I can’t get the surgery I want due to BMI, well my BMI was no different than when I saw her in December, so instead of me driving 45 minutes to see her, she could have done a virtual appointment. While expressing my disappointment and my wasted time, she goes on to say “at least you still have your eyebrows.” Who says that to a patient at the most sensitive time in their life? Bianca Chin does. This woman swears she’s just straight forward and doesn’t sugar coat BUT in all actuality she’s used that phrase because she’s really rude and lacks empathy. She should definitely get an attitude adjustment or sensitivity training and I’ll definitely be reaching out to report this behavior because it’s unprofessional and rude. How dare you speak to a patient like that. I hope that she nor anyone she loves have to deal with these diagnoses because it’s hard enough as it is than to deal with heartless people like her who make this process even harder. I’d never recommend her to anyone for anything. If you get referred, run!

Dr Chin is an amazing plastic surgeon and a wonderful person! She thoroughly explains all options and procedures, is caring and compassionate, and actually listens to what you have to say. The reduction/symmetry surgery she performed following my re-excision lumpectomy turned out beautifully and I'm so happy with it!!! Thanks Dr Chin! If I could, I would gladly give you 10 stars!

Amazing! One of the BEST! I cannot say enough good things about this doctor. She is honest, caring and very skilled in her profession. Dr Chin has been a god send to me over the last year! She had her work cut out for her with my case. I had previously had a reconstruction(by another surgeon not affilliated with Dr Chin) gone terribly wrong and was experiencing pain and discomfort for several years. She was able to perform a diep flap reconstruction for me with amazing results!!! I felt comfortable talking to her from the first day we met. She listened to my story and concerns and gave me realistic expectations for my outcome. Listen to and follow ALL her instructions and your results will be wonderful.
