I paid this woman 20k in 2015 for a breast reduction and tummy tuck. Let that sink in - 20k. My breasts were not reduced at all; only barely lifted. The procedure was done in a ghetto Worcester hospital and I was sent HOME after having open abdominal surgery and she went to her vacation island in Maine where she was unreachable and sent me home with drains and bags and hardcore meds. Years later since I still needed my breasts reduced, I went back for a follow up to correct the situation and she was, as others have mentioned, completely unprofessional and insulting. She called me fat (and I’m not, I weigh 115 lbs and much thinner than she is) Do yourselves a favor go to Dr Costas in Concord. He told me that I should have never been sent home, I had a botched breast lift (when I paid for reduction) and that this Dr should not be able to practice medicine. I’m shocked she’s still able to. He fixed everything for a fraction of the cost including staying overnight at Emerson Hospital / because that is what a responsible medical professional does. Dr Costas for the win.

I received extremely detailed explanations about the day before the surgery, the day of the surgery, and each step during the recovery process. It was a life changing!! After having 7 babies over 12 years, breastfeeding, gaining and them loosing 75lbs my body was certainly in a challenging position. When I turned 45 and the kids where older I decided it was time to focus on tackling goals, but I was lost as to where to start. When I first met Doctor Ekstrom, she talked through all my ambitions with me. The weight loss had left me with extra skin that as she so accurately described had me “feeling like I had cloths on that were too big”. I had so many questions around how to battle the challenges of aging with all the things I wanted to finally improve. She discussed what really bothered me, ask me questions that helped me think through what I wanted to tackle and why and then built a plan. It was one journey at a time getting to where I felt like myself again, but it was so worth it. I’m truly grateful to Doctor Ekstrom she was honest with me through each operation she didn’t just try to fix me or let me jump into unnecessary procedures. She helped me understand my own body anatomy and why some things are just who I am. The office staff was professional, fun, trustworthy and extremely helpful. They even helped me find non-surgical procedures that worked for me when surgery was not necessary.
