When I went to Dr. Pisarenko's office 7 years ago, I too thought he was a caring, honest and understanding doctor. I still feel that mostly, but he did not do right by me. I went to him for what I thought was a breast reduction/lift and I thought that's what I was getting. I trusted him and said, you are the expert and I trust you. I do take some responsibility as well, as I should have asked and asked questions until I was clear, but like I said I did trust him. He basically did a lift and when I questioned him, he said "well, you don't want to be a boy". I said well no but I thought I still wouldn't be big. I am very petite with heavy, dense and wide breasts. The lift was great. You can barely see scars, But my breasts, mainly my left one collapsed to the side (not hanging low - to the side). The lift is still good but because of my wide breast shape, I feel he should have known better. I'm small boned, weigh 88 pounds, a cancer survivor and now I am so uncomfortable, and the left one is actually painful (mamo and ultrasound fine), I have to go through surgery again. Something I never wanted to do again. So, the lesson is ASK questions and be clear on what the doctor will be doing. I'm very scared and sad, but have to have life quality.
