There I was, the only person (male or female) in Naples, FL who had never used Botox or any sort of filler on my face. It’s not that I was anti-enhancement (improvement), but I had never really given it any thought…that is until one morning when I woke up and gave myself a good, hard look in the mirror. Truth be told, I didn’t like what I saw and decided to take care of things. I contacted a friend from LA, who, like all Hollywood agents, knew just how to go about finding the right person for the job. I also contacted my dermatologist and asked him who the best plastic surgeon was in town. Both my friend, and my dermatologist came back with the same two names. I interviewed the first doctor and was not impressed in the least. Forget the fact that he had zero bedside manner and that his office staff walked around with a holier-than-thou attitude, but bottom line, I didn’t like what he proposed (think “a la carte menu”). Next stop was Dr. Jon Strohmeyer’s office. From the very first call, I knew that I would be in good hands. Everyone, from the receptionist, Mia, to the office manager, Natalia, to the nursing staff – Peggy, Ester, and others – was fantastic. And then there’s Dr. Jon himself. Confident, funny, honest and above all else, one helluva surgeon! During the consultation, he walked in, introduced himself and started off by saying, “this is what I would like to do.” The only decision I had to make, was if I wanted a forehead lift or an eyebrow lift as part of the facelift procedure. He held my face in his hands and was able to show me what the results would look like—and he wasn’t kidding! Before and after the surgery, someone called me almost every day to check-in and to see how I was doing. If I had any questions or concerns, I was given a mobile number to call (not an answering service) and someone picked up the phone immediately. Natalia Evans was a gem from start to finish. I admit I was a bit of a worrier, but she dispelled any worries I may have had and was there for me whenever I called. In case you’re wondering, the recovery time (for me) was seven days. I had hardly any swelling and barely any bruising. The secret is to follow the “rules” and not to rush back into any of your regular activities until the doctor says it’s okay. The techniques Dr. Strohmeyer uses ensure that the recovery is as seamless as possible (i.e., no drainage tubes). The end result of having a facelift by Dr. Strohmeyer was nothing less that miraculous! Who knew I needed to have my neck tightened and my jawline enhanced? Here it is, two years later, and I’m still thrilled about the “new me.” Having a facelift in my 60’s and having Dr. Strohmeyer as my plastic surgeon were the two BEST decisions I’ve ever made.

I had been wanting a necklift for several years. A friend referred me to Dr Jon Strohmeyer. The results are amazing. From the initial consultation to the procedure, to the follow-up, everything was perfect. The pain was almost nonexistent and the results were instant. I am turning the big 60 this summer and decided to treat myself to an early birthday gift...a full neck and facelift!!! There is no one I would have trusted my face to other than Dr. Jon Strohmeyer. From the consultation, to the procedure, to the post-op...this was the best experience ever. Dr. Jon and his staff definitely lived up to their stellar reputation. His years of knowledge and experience made me feel very confident that I was going to be pleased with my results. I am three months post-op and am very, very happy!!! Dr. Strohmeyer is well known for his expertise in his field, and his results are always exceptional. I have had many friends go there since I started and now they come from out of state to see him only. If you want to look naturally younger without any obvious work done, this is the place. He is also just a great person all the way around. Everyone appreciates how comfortable he makes them feel. I recommend him and his office highly. His entire office staff and nurses are so pleasant and fun to be with... I always look forward to visiting them. I think I sometimes have a hard time walking out the door!
