Understanding Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery

The Brazilian butt lift is an innovative body contouring procedure that has gained significant popularity in recent years. Plastic surgeons have observed a 58% surge in buttock augmentation requests, driven by celebrity influences and patients' desire for enhanced body proportions.

Procedure Overview

The Brazilian butt lift combines strategic liposuction with precise fat grafting techniques to improve buttock size, shape, and overall body contour. This comprehensive procedure is performed under general anesthesia, utilizing multiple small incisions to extract and transfer fat.

Procedure Benefits

  • Enhances buttock volume and shape
  • Improves lower back and thigh contours
  • Uses patient's own natural fat tissue
  • Can be combined with other body contouring procedures

Ideal Candidates for Brazilian Butt Lift

Perfect candidates typically have:

  • Average-sized buttocks
  • Sufficient fat available for transfer
  • Realistic aesthetic expectations
  • Good overall health

Surgical Technique

The Brazilian butt lift procedure involves precise fat harvesting from donor sites like the lower back and thighs. Collected fat is carefully processed and strategically injected into the buttock to create a lifted, fuller, and more balanced appearance.

Recovery and Results

Patients can expect initial swelling and bruising, with final results becoming visible three to six months post-procedure. Patients typically return to work within one week and resume normal activities after eight weeks.

I give Delcua a 10/10 recommendation. i had a procedure done on my face to remove 2 moles that i had the biggest insecurities with. I called, made an apt, a week later got them removed, today, i had gotten the stitches removed and now it’s healing time. i am so grateful for deluca and giving me a chance to appreciate myself the way i see myself now. will be coming back soon!

I saw Dr. Deluca on 10/16 to get a suspicious mole removed. He was very nice and the procedure went well. I was told no news is good news and they would call if the labs came back with any concern. Fast forward to 11/14, I decided to call the office to double-check the status. Come to find out the mole was positive for squamous cell carcinoma and Dr. Deluca's office had this information since 10/21. The nurse who called me said " the Dr. was out of the office for a couple of weeks," as an explanation of why no one had called me. 25 days passed between when they received the pathology until I called to double-check the results. How much time would have passed had I not called? I have been in the healthcare field for 20 years, I do understand mistakes happen. I truly hope this office takes this as an eye-opening learning experience and implements protocols that will prevent this from happening in the future. I am lucky that the mole I had removed will likely not turn into anything, but what if that wasn't the case? Please do a root-cause analysis and update your back office procedures. It could save a life.
