I went in to see Dr. Feinfield because I was having extreme pain and pressure in both ears, along with pain behind my eyebrows and a runny nose and a scratchy throat. He couldn’t be bothered to come and talk to me first about my symptoms, instead, he sends a very unfriendly woman in there who is his PA probably and she takes notes about all my Symptoms and then tells the DR who then suggested a CT scan. After the CT scan, Dr. Feinfield finally came in and told me my ears look clean and clear and my sinuses look clean and clear. I said that doesn’t make sense I’m miserable, and he said it’s probably your TMJ. I said my TMJ I’ve had for a very long time and I’ve never had such pain and pressure before and it doesn’t cause a runny nose and a scratchy throat. He just looked at me offered no antibiotics, nothing. I left the office and spoke to a friend and she suggested I call back and ask for a Z-Pak, which is something he didn’t suggest either. So I got the Z-Pak and after a couple days I still wasn’t better so I raced over to urgent care because I felt progressively worse and more intense ear pain. The urgent care physician asked me if I’ve had a CT scan and if I’ve seen a specialist, and ENT. I told him that I had, and the CT scan came back with nothing. He said well it sounds like it could be a bacterial infection in your Eustachian tubes or another type of sinus-related issue that needs steroids, and asked me if my ENT that I went to see offered me steroids or anything else. When I told the urgent care physician that the ENT offered me nothing he couldn’t believe it. I left there with a prescription for a heavy dose of steroids and Nasacort for my nose. Within 24 hours I started feeling better. Why is it that a specialist like Dr. Feinfield couldn’t give me any suggestions or give me a prescription for steroids? instead, he blamed it on my TMJ. I will never go back here. I wasted $85 on a co-pay and I’m sure I will get a bill for the remainder that the insurance doesn’t cover! So the bottom line is, I never go back here!!! Thr only thing good about Dr. Feinfield is his beautiful offices and that’s it!

This dr, Jeffrey Feinfield would not even see me. Tried to diagnose me over the phone probably bc the appt was after 4 pm. Told me after I made the appt, they don’t do that! This Dr is in the wrong profession and he doesn’t not care about ppl trying to get help for their sinuses. His receptionist can’t pronounce Cavernous Thrombosis so of course he wouldn’t see me. She just said we don’t do that here, do what I asked? Whatever it is you’re saying. Word of advice to what is supposed to be a person of higher education Your professionalism is lacking to have PhD behind your name and don’t ever diagnose ppl over the phone. Not compassionate at all. You are supposed to be helpful. That’s what a doctor do. You must have forgot!!!!
