Patients can recover at home after surgery. While not overly painful,
the area may be sore after initial numbing wears off. Results are
immediately evident. A postoperative headwrap is removed 3-4 days
after surgery, transitioning to a wide elastic headband for
protection. Most sutures are dissolvable. Patients can resume light
activities after 1 week and more strenuous activities after 2 weeks.
